Have no opinion. But do have pleasure.
I drew a timeline over this piece. Actually it’s more of a action-reaction-line. This drawing I do not want to show you, I don’t want to give away too specific details beforehand. I want you to stay open for your own way of receiving this piece. But I can promise you that the drawing is very beautiful (it’s all relative).
While drawing this beautiful masterpiece I had to face the question of where does it start and where does it end? Or is it ongoing? Is it a fragment cut out of what?
Now when I have an overview of what I am creating it’s easier to see what it is (about). As usual, I am not working with a narrative per se (but I do believe there is a narrative to be found in it if you want). Last year I was working with the ”self” – each dancer focusing on themselves, their own physical being, their own mental being. This year I wanted to continue with that, but now a step further: ”self with others”.
I leave you with that, my working time for today is running out (sticking to the rules of Made in 11 Days)…
